POWER
   
The power workout or the third level of training is designed increase rate of force production or speed of muscle contraction. This form of training uses the adaptions of endurance and strength acquired from the first two phases of the workout and applies them with more realistic speeds and forces that your body will encounter. 
  • Power = Force x Velocity
Here in the third phase we are focusing on the Velocity side of the equation. Increased force production (i.e.: lifting really heavy) = increased power.  On the other hand, increase velocity (i.e.: lifting lighter loads faster) = increased power. There are two ways to power train. The latter seems to be more effective for the overall health of the person. Finish this workout and feel yourself get quicker and faster.  Become a Fitness Machine!
