Endurance Phase - Bands or Dumb Bell Set, Chin Up Bar, Chair or Aerobic Step, Mat, Medicine Ball, Broomstick

Who is Ken Pytluk?

Ken Pytluk (PES,CES) has degrees in Biology and Exercise & Sports Science. He has a combined 25 years of martial arts training and over 15 years of expertise in instructing clients through his strength and conditioning programs. He has unified his talents from both of these areas to ultimately bring us the ESP-XC Strength and Conditioning System. The ESP-XC is a 12 week program that takes you through 3 phases of training (endurance, strength, and power) to accelerate your fitness to an elite level. He has utilized his style of training with a myriad of clients from Olympians, MMA Pro's, martial artists, the military, firefighters, and law enforcement personnel. Ken's passion and knowledge of strength and conditioning for any fitness goal is unsurpassed; and his constant dedication for self-improvement is rarely matched. He has been a featured writer for "Fighters Magazine" and has conducted conferences and boot camps to the masses.

Ken is currently the strength and conditioning coach for former IFL Champ, Ryan Schultz and UFC Veteran, Ed Herman; and he also heads up the strength and conditioning for their fighters at Trials Martial Arts & Fitness. He has created a unique training style that is effective and efficient at yielding great results and continually transforming athletes and all other fitness participants into fitness machines. Not only is Ken a strength and conditioning expert but he is also a professional corrective exercise instructor that can help anyone balance their body while achieving excellent conditioning results.

Ken actively competes in both MMA and Submission Wrestling, placing second in his last tournament. His ESP-XC Fitness System was awarded the "Most Innovative Fitness Program of the Year" by the martial arts community and TAPOUT Magazine referred to his program as "A New Level of MMA Fitness." Q: What kind of workout is the ESP-XC?

A: The ESP-XC is a strength and conditioning workout that progressively builds over 12 weeks. The program combines interval training with systematic progression which will take your fitness levels to the max.

Q: I see a lot of professional athletes on your home page, can a average person complete this workout?

A: Yes, since the workout is not a pure strength workout like some of our competitors, anyone can complete the workout and see amazing results. (See Periodization Study)

Q: I already have P90x and other workouts, what makes yours so different?

A: The ESP-XC is a strength AND conditioning workout. It is designed not only to increase muscle mass but to help you lose weight and improve conditioning levels also. There are people who are unable to complete some of our competitors' workouts or even worse get hurt in the process because their bodies are not prepared for pure strength workout programs. ESP-XC reduces the risk of injury due to Max Periodization (systematic progression.)

Q: If I have already completed the 12 week workout can I cycle back through and see more results?

A: Yes, you can cycle back through the workout and see even better results.

Q: How much space do I need?

A: You will need an area about 8 ft by 5 ft which is the about 40 square feet.

Q: How long is each workout?

A: Each workout or disk is around 45 - 50 minutes in length.

Q: Do I have to take supplements with the workout?

A: Supplements are not required, but to see maximum results, they are recommended. Supplements will help your body recover from strenuous exercise from the program.
